All You Need to Know When You are 9 Weeks Pregnant
Many advices are given to pregnant women. Don’t believe them all unless they are from your doctor or from your personal care provider. Keep in mind that it is not true that what worked with me would probably get the same effects with you since every woman is unique with her pregnancy.
When you are 9 weeks pregnant, your baby is still very small. At this stage, an average baby would have a length of an inch and a weight that is so little, much less than an ounce. Many of the baby body parts are already there though they still have a long way to be completely developed. The heart of your baby has now its chambers, and the valves are on their way to existence. The teeth also start their formation in this week. The external sex organs too exist now but they are not fully developed that you can’t even tell if it is a male or a female. The eyes are still closed, and you can define the mouth and the earlobes in your baby’s head.
It is still difficult to tell that you are 9 weeks pregnant from your external appearance. But you can notice an increase in your waist size. Avoid wearing tight clothes and choose to wear outfits that you feel more comfortable in. When you are 9 weeks pregnant, you may suffer different mood changes. Some part of it is due to your anxiousness and fears about being a mother with all the responsibility that comes with it and all the effort it needs, and a part of it is due to hormonal changes that take place during this period of your pregnancy. If things are getting way out of hand, check with your doctor if you can practise yoga. There are some yoga classes for pregnant women that you can join and with their meditation and different exercises you can release much of the pressure and stress that you have.
